Fact is: Martial arts demands and promotes agility, coordination, speed, strength and endurance in equal measure - regardless of whether the fighter is a woman or a man. One thing should be clearly stated here: Full contact (sparring) is (especially in training) never mandatory! Playful light-contact variations are ideal for working out and minimize the risk of injury (which, compared to sports like soccer or tennis, is very low anyway). Challenge yourself and discover your inner warrior ... it's never too late. Fit at Fifty - and beyond!
